The course helps you meet business-related professional situations on equal footing and communicate purposefully with business partners using German jargon.

We offer an industry overview, job interview training, and regular roleplay activities (using case studies: summarizing business reports and participating in negotiations), as well as access to the exclusive LcL Phonetics Program in the modern LcL Language Lab.

Overcome challenges related to initiating contact and dealing with foundational office communication, including company correspondence, teamwork, and conflict resolution. Learn to deal professionally with other companies, products, and contractors, as well as images, advertisements, social media, and conventions. Discuss payment, technical competencies, workplace safety, unemployment, as well as tips and tricks for successful job interviews. Work on resumes, applications, and text types used routinely in professional life.
